Costa Corniolo – Strada dei Santuari

Trail 532 is a short connecting route that climbs the Costa Corniolo ridge, linking Via Beccara, trail 531, with the Strada dei Santuari, trail 530.

It follows one of the most panoramic points between Riomaggiore and Manarola, running along the ridge that separates the two villages. From here, opposite views open out over the coast, allowing you to observe both sides at the same time.

The route crosses terraced vineyards and sections of pine woodland, maintaining an uphill profile throughout but without particular technical difficulties. Compared with other trails in the area, it is less steep, although it is still steady.

The route begins on the ridge, at the intersection with trail 531, and ends on the Strada dei Santuari, trail 530, making it a useful connection for continuing towards Volastra or Colle del Telegrafo.

The trail is short but panoramic, with open views along the ridge, and is ideal as a connection between longer routes. Trail 532 is also a strategic link for reaching the Strada dei Santuari from Via Beccara without descending back to the villages.
